With a background in jazz, composition and a deep-rooted love for metal, Julien brings both technical precision and musical curiosity to NevBorn. As a music teacher, he has developed a sharp ear and a broad understanding of what makes music work, which he channels into intricate riffs, unexpected harmonies and heavy, precise guitar work. His wide range of influences adds depth and character to the band’s sound, balancing raw aggression with more subtle, complex textures.

With a hard-hitting backbeat and powerful, physical energy, Géraldine von Kaenel brings a raw and relentless drive to NevBorn. She’s not exactly known for holding back. An independent multimedia designer by trade, she brings the same attention to detail behind the kit: tight rhythms, massive accents and a backbeat that hits like a fucking truck. The result is a drum sound that is raw, punchy and impossible to ignore.

With his urgent, visceral vocals and a guitar style that moves effortlessly between crushing riffs and atmospheric passages, Matthieu Hinderer is at the heart of NevBorn’s sound. A driving force behind the band since its early days, he has shaped much of its music, writing lyrics, composing, and experimenting with everything from guitars to synths and samples. His approach is intense and uncompromising, turning NevBorn’s music into something as much felt as it is heard.

As a project and team manager in the construction industry, he’s used to keeping things moving and getting the job done. And that same focus comes through in his playing.
